Intel acquired the smartwatch brand Basis and launched several products within the New Devices Group at Intel. Melissa was the Creative Director for the Basis brand. Her focus was leading the wrist wearable and consumer software space. Her responsibilies included managing a design team and workflow for marketing while providing vision and strategic support to the product and marketing partners. Responsibilities include but are not limited to oversight and leadership in the following areas: Creative Direction and Vision, Team Management, Brand Identity, Product Marketing, Product Development, Paid Advertising, Web Design, Social Media, Social Campaigns, Video Direction, Tradeshows (CES and others), Content Creation, Email Marketing, Trend Forecasting, Launch Plans, Time Management, Project Planning, Website Architecture, UI/UX, E-Commerce, Brand Strategy, Retail Activation and Display Design, Photography Direction, planning and budgeting, and agency relationships/budgeting.
